It is important that you review your insurance company's policy on referrals and benefits for services that are not provided us. We refer patients to many specialists. Most insurance companies require the primary care provider (us) to make the first appointment with the specialist. It is extremely important to verify the specialist is a designated provider by your insurance company. If you feel you need to see a specialist, please contact our office so that we can schedule an appointment to discuss any referrals. In the event that you seek care at any emergency department or an urgent care center, please notify our office on the next business day as your insurance carrier may require additional documentation.
